Ammonia Leak Shuts Down Roads In Brownsville

Hazmat teams were called out in Fayette County Wednesday night when a railroad car started leaking ammonia.

The tanker was on railroad tracks at 17th Street in Brownsville.

Several roads were closed while crews cleaned up the leak, including 17th Street and Brush Run Road.

Crews had the leak cleaned up and the roads reopened early Thursday morning.
