PITTSBURGH —

Police made an arrest in connection with the kidnapping of a former Pittsburgh woman.

Monica Renee Bowie disappeared Thursday from outside her apartment complex in Atlanta, Georgia.

Police said they saw signs of a struggle in the parking lot with pieces of her fingernails and hair.

And neighbors said they heard her screaming for help.

Bowie was last seen being dragged into a car.

Police arrested Jasper Keels with stealing the car that was seen speeding from the scene.

Keels is being held in the Dekalb County Jail, charged with theft of a motor vehicle.

Police are still searching for Bowie.
