Beaver Co. Firm Aids WTC Construction

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

A Beaver County company on Tuesday shipped drilling equipment to the new World Trade Center site in New York City.

Tom McKelvy, chief executive officer of Hopewell Township-based TMJ Inc., told Channel 11 News hydraulic drill rigs, compressors and other equipment from his company will be used by the general contractor working at the site.

McKelvy said TMJ secured a contract last month to provide the equipment.

A crew from TMJ will go to New York Friday to service the equipment.
