Bethel Park Man Jailed On Child Porn Charges

A local man will spend 60 months in jail on a guilty plea to child pornography charges. Bernie Sherry Bernie Sherry

Bernie Sherry, of Bethel Park, pleaded guilty to receiving pictures of a naked child on the Internet in October.

He is one of several local defendants accused of accepting the photos from the 2-year-old's mother.

Sherry was also sentenced to five years probation and will be entered into a sex offender program.

Two other suspects in that investigation pleaded guilty.

Roderick Long pleaded guilty last year that he had sex with the 2-year-old girl.

And Wyndell Williams, of West Mifflin, pleaded guilty to having pornographic photos of the girl.

Both are awaiting sentencing.
