Body Discovered Under Tower In East Deer Twp.

Officials Continue To Investigate

EAST DEER TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

A man's body was found Monday under a radio tower owned by WGBN 1150AM. A young girl walking her dog was the one to spot the body along St. Regis Lane in East Deer Township.

Neighbors said a worker was on the tower and they believe he was the one who fell.

The man had recently finished repainting the 400-foot tower and was in the process of tearing down part of the tower that had suffered wind damage in the spring.

Allegheny County Homicide continues to investigate. The victim has not been identified.
