Body Found In North Park Lake

A body was found in the lake at North Park Wednesday. north park lake

Investigators believe the body is of a teenage male.

A parent and child were walking and noticed a body floating in a lake near the North Park skating rink.

Officials were called to the area around 1:30 p.m.

Allegheny County homicide detectives and the coroner's office were also at the scene.

The victim's identity is not known.

The cause of death has yet to be determined.

After discovering the victim's body, police found a car about 300 yards away.
