BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. —

Dozens of people gathered to remember a 12-year-old boy who was struck and killed by a train on Friday night.

Investigators said Joshua Nichol was playing with friend when he was struck near the CSX tracks on East End Avenue in the city of Beaver.

A candlelight vigil was held for Nichol at a gazebo on Third Street to remember the boy Sunday night.

Nichol's father told Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE that he warned his son about the danger of playing on the tracks.
