Carnegie Woman Hits $64K Jackpot At Meadows Casino

CARNEGIE, Pa. —

A Carnegie woman hit big on her first trip ever to the Meadows Casino and Racetrack in Washington, Pa.

Kelly Ann Barefoot hit the jackpot for $64,000 last week.

She said she was playing a 25-cent progressive slot machine when she hit big. The jackpot came just days after a Smithfield woman won a $122,000 jackpot.

"The saying: 'There's a first time for everything,' is very fitting for Ms. Barefoot," said Meadows Vice President and General Manager Michael Graninger. "We're very pleased for Ms. Barefoot and extend our congratulations."
