CCAC Offers Programs To Re-Train Area Workers

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. —

The Community College of Allegheny County is offering re-training programs to people who have had difficulty finding work in their field.

“I was a nuclear medicine technologist,” said displaced worker Kelly Fibeck. “Not many job openings for nuclear medicine in the Pittsburgh area.”

CCAC is offering programs in such areas as basic electronics, instructional technology support, phlebotomy, emergency medical technology and certified nurse’s assistance.
