Child Taken To Hospital After Falling In Country Club Pool

Medics were called to the Highland Country Club in Ross Township on Tuesday after a child fell into a pool, according to Allegheny County 911.

The child was removed by a bystander, authorities said.

Witnesses said the child initially had difficulty breathing but appeared to be OK otherwise.

The child was transported to Children's Hospital under a non-emergency status.
