Court Docs: Suspect Had Camera During Greensburg Woman’s Torture, Killing

Court documents released Thursday show that one of the people accused of torturing and killing a mentally handicapped Greensburg woman, had a camera.

According to a search warrant, suspect Peggy Miller had a red Sanyo digital camera during the February torturing of 30-year-old Jennifer Daugherty.

The search warrant states that Daugherty begged Miller to take pictures of her injuries and forward them to her mother.

Channel 11 has also learned where Daugherty was killed.

According to police, after Daugherty was held captive for nearly three days, tortured and possibly raped, the warrant said she was stabbed in the bathroom of the apartment before her body was stuffed in a trash can.

Police said that there were no pictures of Daugherty's injuries on the camera and there was no apparent attempt to send pictures to Daugherty's mother. Investigators said the camera contained pictures of Miller and her boyfriend.
