Crash Closes 90 Miles Of Pa. Turnpike In Bedford

BEDFORD, Pa. —

A tractor-trailer crash closed 90 miles of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Sunday evening between the New Stanton and Breezewood exits.

The crash occurred in both the eastbound and westbound lanes of the road. Cars swerving to avoid the initial crash slammed into one another, causing a huge traffic backup.

There is no word on injuries. The turnpike has since reopened.
