A Kettering family is mourning the loss of its dog after it was shot and killed with an arrow.
Halie Cox said the 2-year-old boxer named Tyson was found lying on the ground and bleeding. Her family is asking anyone with information to come forward.
Tyson got out of the yard on Grace Avenue on March 18, and when he returned home, the arrow was sticking out of his side.
The dog died moments after Cox’s father removed the arrow from the dog.
The family planned to file a report with Kettering Police.
