Crossing Guard Struck By Car In Perry North Neighborhood

PITTSBURGH —

Police said a crossing guard was struck by a car Tuesday morning in the Perry North neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

The incident happened in the 3800 block of Perrysville Avenue near Perry Traditional Academy at about 7 a.m., authorities said.

The injuries suffered by the crossing guard were minor, police said.

There is no word on whether charges will be filed against the driver.
