Driver Killed In New Stanton Crash

NEW STANTON, Pa. —

A Westmoreland County man was killed Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in New Stanton.

A utility truck collided with a tractor-trailer while trying to turn left on South Center Avenue, near Bridge Street, at about 5:30 p.m.

The Westmoreland County Coroner's office said Ronald Puchalski, 51, of Tarrs, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The tractor-trailer driver, who was not injured, attempted to avoid the collision by steering off the roadway, investigators said.

That driver wasn’t injured.
