Entrance to Brackenridge plant blocked due to dispute
BRACKENRIDGE, Pa. —
On Wednesday in Brackenridge, the mayor had police block the entrance to Allegheny Ludlum's ATI plant.
The borough is in a dispute with ATI.
The borough said ATI agreed to pay police and public works to haul some heavy equipment, but ATI got a subcontractor to move it because they didn't want to pay the borough. Borough leaders say that was never an option.
Attorneys for both sides met on Wednesday afternoon.
