Fire Damages Monroeville Shopping Center

No Injuries Reported

MONROEVILLE, Pa. —

Fire hit a Monroeville shopping center overnight.

Three businesses are cleaning up in the McGinnis Sisters Strip Mall on Mosside Boulevard.

The fire started shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday in an electrical sign near the roof of a beer distributor. Nearby businesses suffered minor damage, mostly to the roof they share.

McGinnis Sisters Specialty Food Store did not suffer any smoke damage and the store will be open on Wednesday.

Fire officials said they do not consider the blaze suspicious, but the investigation continues.

No one was hurt.
