Flames Damage Scott Township Animal Hospital

SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Firefighters battled a blaze on Friday at an animal hospital in Scott Township.

The fire broke out shortly after noon at the Greentree Animal Clinic along Greentree Road.

Leslie Marino, practice manager at the facility, told Channel 11 News the blaze started in the back of the building. Marino said a passerby noticed it and alerted them.

The building suffered minor damage. No animals were hurt.

Firefighters are investigating the cause, which is believed to be electrical.
