Road Closures In Effect Saturday Morning

PITTSBURGH —

A Pittsburgh landmark will be brought to the ground this weekend to make way for the Penguins new arena.

The former St. Francis Central Hospital will be imploded around 2 p.m. Saturday. The demolition was orginially scheduled for 7 a.m., but was moved beacause of weather.

Several streets will be shut down during the implosion (see map, right).

The closures will be in effect from 1 p.m. Saturday until 30 minutes after the implosion.
