Franklin Park Woman Sentenced For Selling Drugs In Day Care Parking Lot

PITTSBURGH —

A Franklin Park woman accused of selling marijuana and Ecstasy at a day care center where she worked was sentenced to two years probation on Wednesday.

Kelsey Lansaw, 19, is charged with selling $750 worth of Ecstasy to an undercover detective at a gas station in Coraopolis in June 2009, then again on June 26 drug deal at the Forever Young Daycare Center in Pine Township.

Lansaw was arrested in July 2009 by officers from the Coraopolis Police Department and the District Attorney Narcotics Enforcement Team following the second of the two alleged drug sales to undercover agents, officials said.

Authorities said that during the June 26 sale, Lansaw took a plastic bag of marijuana from her bra and gave it to the detective in exchange for the money.

Chief Alan DeRusso of the Coraopolis police said, "(Lansaw) basically pulled the marijuana out of her blouse."

The judge said if Lansaw completes her probation, her record will be expunged.
