Groundbreaking Held For 'Green' Mt. Washington Construction Project

Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and City Councilwoman Theresa Kail-Smith were on hand for the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of new ecologically sound and environmentally responsible townhomes in Mt. Washington.

The ceremony on Thursday marked the beginning of construction of the Sweetbriar Village townhomes atop Mount Washington.

In a press release Coldwell Banker, the property developer, said the construction marks another example of the company’s ongoing commitment to the rejuvenation of Pittsburgh.
