Hines Ward Teaches Pittsburgh Kids About Pedestrian Safety

MUNHALL, Pa. —

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward stepped off the field on Tuesday and into the classroom.

Ward spent time to teach children at Park Elementary in Munhall about the importance of safety when crossing the road.

Along with Fed-Ex, Ward is getting out the message to children about pedestrian safety.

A guy who is known for being fast on his feet, Ward said he understands that walking to and from school and the playground is a big part of a child's day.
