Interstate 79 In Washington Co. Reopens After Crash

 

SOUTHPOINTE, Pa. —

Interstate 79 has reopened in Washington County after a crash shut down the southbound lanes.

The two-vehicle, rollover accident happened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Stat Medevac was called to the scene.

Interstate 79 southbound was closed between Canonsburg and Southpointe.

While the lanes were reopened and the accident scene was cleared, traffic was backed up to the Bridgeville exit for a while.

There is no word on victims or injuries.
