Is 911 Outage To Blame For Infant's Death?

Stowe Township Boy Found Unresponsive Wednesday

STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

The death of a 5-month-old Stowe Township boy has left some wondering who is to blame.

Police said the baby's father called 911 around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday after he found his son, Alijah, unresponsive.

But he had trouble getting an operator on the line because of an outage with the system.

It took paramedics 19 minutes to respond.

Officials would not confirm that the system's problems had anything to do with the infant's death.
