Kennywood Voted 2nd Best Traditional Amusement Park

Pittsburgh's beloved amusement park, Kennywood, has been named the second best traditional amusement park by a major organization.

The honor was given to the park this week by the National Amusement Park Historical Association. Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pa.. took the No. 1 spot.

The Phantom's Revenge took third place in the favorite steel roller coaster poll, and the Skyrocket was voted best new attraction by the association.

Also honored was Idlewild in Ligonier. The park was voted the best park for families.
