Landing Gear Fails; Plane Skids On Belly In Washington Co.

 

WASHINGTON, Pa. —

A single-engine plane's landing gear failed and skidded on its belly until it came to a complete stop at the Washington County Airport Thursday.

The plane traveled approximately 1,000 feet before coming to rest.

The accident happened around 2 p.m.

The pilot was not hurt.
