LATROBE, Pa. —
Police said several teachers noticed the student, Gordon Kaylor, of Greensburg, smelled like marijuana when he arrived at school on Friday.
As part of Latrobe High School procedures, police said staff members, along with the student, opened his vehicle and checked the contents of the vehicle together.
At that time, police said, the student admitted to owning and possessing three bags of suspected marijuana, 25 unknown white pills, 19 packs of rolling papers, a folding knife, a rolling machine, a BB gun pistol, a digital weighing scale and a 40 ounce bottle of alcohol.
All of the items, police said, were recovered on school property.
School staff contacted state police, who charged Kaylor with drug possession, possession of weapons on school grounds and underage drinking.
