PITTSBURGH —
The sessions were held in preparation for the upcoming G-20 summit to be held in Pittsburgh in September.
President Barack Obama will host the event that will bring together top world leaders to discuss the current economic crisis.
One session began at noon at Robert Morris University; another was held at 5:30 p.m. at the University of Pittsburgh.
Leaders representing 85 percent of the world’s economy will converge for the summit at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center to talk about recovering from the global economic and financial crisis. The facility boasts a LEED Gold Certification from the U.S Green Building Council for leadership in energy and environmental design.
