Local Teen Killed in Car Dealership Crash

A violent accident Saturday morning killed a teenager from Pleasant Hills.

It happened on Route 51 in Elizabeth Borough shortly before noon.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Kevin Frenock, 18.

Police said Frenock was traveling along Route 51 when he lost control of his vehicle, and slammed into eight parked cars at Webb Auto Sales. Frenock was taken to Jefferson Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police were investigating the cause of the accident on Sunday night, though they said speed might have played a factor.

The medical examiner's office said Sunday that Frenock died of blunt force trauma to the head, trunk and extremities.
