Local Tobacco Vendor Reimbursing Overbilled Customers

PITTSBURGH —

The owner of a local tobacco chain is repaying customers who have recently been overcharged because of a technical glitch.

Bob Busche, owner of Puff discount tobacco stores, has been accidentally double-billing customers at two stores due to a credit card processing error.

“I think we had close to 7,000 to 8,000 transactions that were double-billed,” he said. “We are reversing them all.”

Busche expressed regret over the inconvenience to his customers and is working with banks to remove any overdrafting fees incurred by them.
