1 killed in early-morning Mount Pleasant crash

MOUNT PLEASANT, Pa. —

One person was killed in a crash that happened around 3 a.m. Friday in Mount Pleasant.

Witnesses said the driver lost control of the car and crashed into a pole near the intersection of North Church and West Main streets.

A woman who lives nearby said the pole then crashed through a window of a bank.

The victim's name has not been released. There is no word on what caused the crash.
