1 person killed in crash with bread truck in North Union Township

NORTH UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

One person was killed when a car crashed into a bread truck early Friday morning.

Police said the crash happened on Coolspring-Jumonville Road in North Union Township.

Investigators said the car went through a metal fence and crashed into a bread truck at The Stroehman Bakery.

Police said 43-year-old Duane Halfhill, of Lemont Furnace, was killed in the crash.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
