FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa —

Four people were taken to the hospital after a crash on Route 51 in Fayette County Saturday morning.

Police said James Williams lost control of his SUV on a curve in Franklin Township. The vehicle hit a guide rail and went down a hillside.

According to police, Williams was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown through the windshield. His wife and two children were also in the car and suffered minor injuries.

Police said Williams will be charged with “driving too fast for conditions.”
