LAWRENCEVILLE, Pa. —
Two construction workers who were injured after falling about 30 feet when a deck they were working on collapsed Tuesday afternoon could be released from the hospital Wednesday.
According to police, the men, who are 18 and 24 years old, were finishing up work on a Lawrenceville apartment building under construction when the deck they were on collapsed.
The men, who worked for Malard Homes and Remodeling, were rushed to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with injuries.
OSHA inspectors returned to the accident scene Wednesday to continue their investigation.
Building inspectors discovered the wood was being held in place by nails instead of bolts
