HICKORY TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Firefighters battled flames at a Lawrence County home early Tuesday morning.

Officials said no one was inside the Hickory Township home when it caught fire about 1 a.m.

While crews were extinguishing the blaze, the second floor of the home collapsed. No firefighters were injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and firefighters said they think the house may have been undergoing renovations.
