3 Firefighters Injured Battling Fayette Co. Blaze

BROWNSVILLE, Pa. —

Three California Borough firefighters were injured early Sunday morning while battling a blaze in Fayette County.

Authorities said the fire started at about 1:30 a.m. in a duplex on Baltimore Street in Brownsville Borough.

A man lived on one side of the home and the other side was vacant, officials said.

The man was not injured in the blaze, police said.

The firefighter’s names and condition have not been released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
