Police arrested a 19-year-old man accused of robbing victims at gunpoint Tuesday in the city’s Corliss neighborhood.
Authorities were called to Universal Street and Fuller Way about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday for the report of an armed robbery.
The victims told officers that they were walking near Universal Street when a man approached them with a gun and robbed them.
According to police, the victims said the robber, later identified as Lamar Taylor, fled on foot on Fuller Way.
After a brief search, police eventually arrested Taylor, 19, nearby and recovered the stolen items.
Taylor was charged with robbery and transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
