Arrest made after Westmoreland County boy, 4, shoots self in face

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. —

An 18-year-old was arrested Tuesday in a shooting of a Westmoreland County 4-year-old.

Aaron Beasley turned himself in to police after investigators said the boy found his gun and accidentally shot himself in the face in Arnold last month.

The child shot himself in the eye and did survive the shooting.

Beasley is charged with recklessly endangering another person, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.
