LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. —
Police are trying to determine how a toddler was seriously injured after a traumatic fall. The father told Channel 11 reporter Brandon Hudson he stepped out of the room but quickly headed back in once he heard his daughter screaming. "When I ran to the room, she was on the floor crying," the father said to Hudson. Police said the accident happened at an apartment in New Castle off Pin Oak Drive Saturday afternoon. The child began going in and out of consciousness so the father told police he dialed 911. The twin baby girl was airlifted to the a Pittsburgh hospital. The toddler's twin sister is in the custody of police. There is no word yet if any criminal charges will be filed.
