NORTH BRADDOCK, Pa. —

County homicide detectives arrested a woman accused of shooting a man early Tuesday morning in North Braddock.

Authorities said the man was shot in the stomach just before 4 a.m. on Stokes Avenue.

Arlonda Giles, 29, turned herself in Tuesday afternoon. She is charged with aggravated assault, attempted homicide, and two counts of recklessly endangering another person. She will be lodged in the Allegheny County Jail to await arraignment.

Witnesses told Channel 11 that Giles and her neighbor were sitting on the porch when they got into a fight. The fight woke the neighbors.

"I heard all this fighting and arguing. I heard somebody say, 'Go home because there are kids here,'" neighbor Terese Braill said.

Officials said the man was rushed to an area hospital where he is in stable condition. His name has not been released.
