ARNOLD, Pa. —

Federal, state and local authorities raided an Arnold convenience store Wednesday, hauling out cartons of alleged synthetic marijuana, plus several firearms and alleged drug paraphernalia.

The raid occurred around noon at the Arnold Stop-n-Go on Constitution Boulevard.

State police Trooper Ronald Stonis said there had been numerous complaints the store was selling synthetic marijuana. Arnold and state police began investigating in January.

Arnold police Sgt. Mike Krahe said federal authorities eventually joined the investigation.

There were no arrests Wednesday, however, police interviewed the store's owner, Seif Shuman, and his brother, Muhammad.

State police said the investigation is continuing.
