MOUNT PLEASANT, Pa. —
An autopsy is set on the body of a 2-month-old western Pennsylvania boy whose death is being investigated by the state police.
Troopers from the Greensburg barracks and the Westmoreland County coroner have yet to release the name of the boy.
Tuesday's autopsy is being held to determine whether the child died from natural causes -- such as sudden infant death syndrome -- or some other means.
Police are saying only that the boy died at Excela Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant, shortly after 10:30 a.m. Monday. The hospital is about 30 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
Investigators are not releasing other information about the circumstances of his death.
