Beaver Falls man accused of attacking 3 friends with dumbbell

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (AP) —

A Beaver Falls man has been charged with attempted murder after police say he hit three acquaintances in the head with a dumbbell.

According to police, the attack happened early Sunday morning after a night of drinking.

Officials said Daniel Joseph Druzak, 21, is facing three counts of attempted murder and six counts of aggravated assault.

Police said they found Druzak on the back porch of his home, a nonprofit group home serving mental health needs.

Druzak later told officers he suffers from "homicidal attacks" and admitted striking the victims, according to police.

Druzak is being held at the Beaver County Jail with bail set at $500,000, according to court documents.
