BUTLER, Pa. —
A judge found a Butler County doctor guilty on Thursday of sexually assaultling two young boys that were in his Boy Scout troop in the 1990s.
David Evanko, 58, took the stand on Wednesday and denied having sex with the boys and providing them with pornography. Evanko admitted he provided the boys with alcohol. Evanko was a Boy Scouts Scoutmaster for 11 years and told the judge more than 500 boys went through his troop over the years.
Evanko was found guilty of statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviant sexual intercourse .
Channel 11's Amy Marcinkiewicz reported that the charges carry a five year prison sentence and the judge ordered Evanko to turn in his passport.
