BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. —
A woman who worked as an aide at an assisted living home in Butler County is accused of stealing residents' jewelry.
Tammy Edwards appeared in court on Tuesday.
Investigators said she stole the elderly patients' cherished possessions while she was employed at the New Haven Assisted Living facility in Center Township.
Police said Edwards would steal the jewelry and then give them to her boyfriend, who would then take them to a pawn shop.
Edwards and Jonathan Maker are both facing theft charges.
