Butler man killed in motorcycle crash on Route 8

BUTLER, Pa. —

A man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into tree early Sunday morning.

Police said 29-year-old Benjamin Brown was driving on Route 8 in Clay Township around 1:55 a.m when he lost control of his Harley.

Police said as Brown was turning left, he laid the bike down which then ran off the road and slammed into a tree.

Police said Brown wasn't wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
