Authorities are investigating a rollover accident along Route 8 in Penn Township where a car crashed into a bar.
According to police, a woman in her 70s lost control of her car and it flipped onto its roof, slid about 100 feet and crashed into the side of McBride Station just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The woman’s name and condition have not been released.
Witnesses at the scene told Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz that the building didn’t suffer major damage.
“I heard her hit the corner of the building and then we saw her go past the window,” witness Crystal Koebler said. “We could see her tires going past and I just hurried up and called 911.”
The incident remains under investigation.
