FINDLAY TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A missing Findlay Township man was found safely in an area hospital.
According to emergency officials, 50-year-old Michael Wolkenstein checked himself into Allegheny General Hospital.
Wolkenstein had last been seen walking near his Westbrook Lane home about noon Monday holding a bottle of water.
About 10 K-9 dogs and more than 30 officers searched for Wolkenstein earlier this week.
Wolkenstein’s wife told police that when she returned home from work Monday she noticed he didn’t take his cellphone or credit cards.
There is no word on why Wolkenstein checked himself into the hospital. Officials said he was not hurt.
