CANONSBURG, Pa. —
Dozens of horses and cats were rescued from a Washington County home Sunday.
Channel 11 News was there as humane agents served a warrant at the home on Lewicki Road in Canonsburg, Cecil Township.
Humane officers said there were at least 40 horses and 40 cats on the property. Officials said more than two dozen of the cats are considered deathly ill.
Humane officials said the owners have been charged and convicted of animal cruelty in the past.
