SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A man who swerved to hit a pedestrian still hit the woman and then ran into a Scott Township home.
Police said the incident happened on Carothers Avenue in Scott Township Thursday.
The victim was taken to Allegheny General Hospital to be treated for injuries. Her name and condition were not released.
The impact from the crash knocked a door off its hinges and destroyed the frame.
Police said speed was not a factor in the crash. The victim is expected to be OK. There is no word on if any charges will be filed.
